Of course before we get to that we need to see what's been going on inside the house. Remember we left the houseguests at the beginning of the HoH competition at the end of Wednesday's episode so that's where we join them now. Everyone goes on about who they're taking out and why and it's anyone's game so far. Well, except Ashleigh's as she's out on the second question. Willow and Bobby are out on question four and so are the chances for the Chop Shop to maintain control. They think they still have Zach but he's tighter with Jordan and Kevin so it could be goodbye Chop Shop this week.
Sarah and Jordan blew the fifth question. Jordan knew the answer but stood on the wrong step without checking. Big mistake. Kevin and Brittnee get eliminated on question six. It's now down to Zach, Pilar or Godfrey. Time for the tiebreaker as everyone grabs their chalkboard. They need to guess in minutes how long a challenge lasted and I'm pretty sure Pilar was wrong with 2,600 minutes. That's over 43 hours girl, what the heck are you thinking? Doesn't matter because Zach is the new HoH.
Arisa immediately informs Zach that his first decision as HoH is to choose four Have-Nots for the week. He picked Bruno and Sarah because they've never been, Jordan volunteered and lastly he picked Godfrey. Jordan made the mistake of being the first to congratulate Zach, possibly revealing their alliance and now he's grumbling in the pantry. They've managed to keep their alliance a secret so far and this may have blown it.
Ashleigh and Pilar are celebrating in the bedroom confident that they're safe this week because of their alliance with Zach. Jordan feels he needs to do some damage control and chats with Zach in the pantry and suggests that Zach put Jordan up as a pawn opposite Godfrey. That could backfire, big time.
Everyone races up to see Zach's HoH room, with a new coffee table addition from the Brick (thank goodness for product placement), his football, the stuffed dog, family photos and, of course, his letter from home. A lot less crying than the others but even Zach gets a little emotional. Ashleigh really likes knowing how much of a family man Zach is, but did she miss the part in the letter about all his girlfriends. Good thing she's competitive.
In the bedroom, Zach reveals his plan to Pilar and Kevin to put up Jordan and Godfrey. When Jordan comes in he confesses he's a little concerned about the plan, especially when the intent is to backdoor Bruno before he sees it coming and forms his own little army. He intends to tell the Chop Shop that he intends to backdoor Kevin, but obviously has no intent of revealing the actual plan. Now all they need is to make sure Bruno doesn't win the PoV.
Bruno and Godfrey are in the Have Not room discussing the plan to push for Kevin this week and just let Zach slide so they can get rid of him next week. Good luck with that guys. Out in the kitchen Zach lets Godfrey know he's going up as a pawn. Godfrey's a little concerned even when Zach tells him the plan to backdoor Kevin. Godfrey keeps up a straight face but he feels Zach has crossed a line. When Jordan shows up and asks if Zach told him Godfrey gets even more suspicious. Probably shouldn't be laughing about being on the block.
Godfrey goes to Bruno and tells him about Zach's plan to get rid of Kevin. Bruno has a bad feeling about this. He noticed Zach and Jordan hanging a lot during his reign as HoH and now that Zach is the HoH things aren't adding up. Not much they can do about it though as . . .
It's time for the nominations. Zach goes into the Vault and he knows that Bruno is a lovable player that needs to go so he's immediately put into the shortlist. Godfrey is next, more as a pawn than anything else because Zach has no idea where he stands. Bobby also gets shortlisted because he needs to go, but the hardest one is putting Jordan in the list because sometimes pawns go home and that would seriously mess up Zach's game. Everyone is expecting a backdoor, especially Bruno.
Nominations are locked in and Zach heads to the living room to complete the ceremony. He gives the required speech and pulls the first lever, . . . Godfrey, because he's slept his way to day 29 and nap time is over. Zach pulls the second lever to reveal, . . . Jordan, because it's strategic for his game. So far everything is going according to plan. Now Zach needs to keep Bobby and Bruno appraised of the goal to oust Kevin. Bobby's buying it and says to tell Kevin they intend to backdoor Brittnee, but Bruno still looks a bit leery.
Back out front of the house it's time for the KFC re-entry challenge. The five evicted houseguests (Risha, Sindy, Naeha, Graig and Johnny) now have a chance to get back into the house. Each one has a rope with a series of knots and they'll begin by stepping onto the first knot, then they'll be raised into the air and they'll have to hang on. As time goes on they'll need to move down to smaller and smaller knots, until eventually there's only one evictee left. I still think the pit needs alligators.
Everyone gets on their ropes and rises into the air and it doesn't take long for Risha to slip and almost lose right at the start. Graig's got the most weight on the rope and he's sjphaking like a leaf as he slips and ends up sitting on the knot. That's gonna leave a mark. Time to show the houseguests what's going on outside as the big screen comes to life.
Bobby's the first to notice and they've all figured out what's going on as they race across the room to watch. There's a lot of cheering, especially for Johnny and Naeha. Kevin looks a little shocked. Willow is the only one who wonders how long they've been hanging there. So far nobody can be sure that one of them is coming back in to the house, but that's everyone's guess. Sindy looks the most solid, while Johnny starting to lose his grip and Graig is dripping like he's in a shower.
Unfortunately the first one to fall is Johnny and he is now officially out of the house. Graig can no longer handle the pressure from the knot and he drops down before he suffers some permanent damage and is also officially removed from the house. He gives a little bow to Arisa and the others before following Johnny out. The girls are happy they've beaten the boys, now they just need to beat each other.
At 41, Risha is the oldest and likely heaviest of the three girls on the rope. She's in the same position as Graig was and its not comfortable but she's still in this. Or not. Risha is now officially out of the house. She tells the others how proud she is of them before she leaves. Sindy goes into pageant mode to control the pain until she starts to slip. Time to move to the second knot, which is where Sindy had already slipped to. She decides to take a big risk and shift to sitting in that knot, and it works.
Naeha and Sindy have been hanging on the ropes for over 90 minutes now. The ropes have begun to rise again, forcing the girls to the last knot. Naeha can't get a grip on the last knot, her feet flailing to get connected, and she's now officially out of the house. Sindy starts to cry while still stuck on the rope until Arisa announces that she has won her way back into the house. She drops down, makes her way shakily out of the pit and goes over to get a hug from Arisa.
Arisa congratulates her and asks what she's thinking and Sindy says she can't believe she just did that. She's still full of herself, but this time she's earned it. I don't think I'd have lasted 30 minutes. Arisa gives her instructions to go back in to the house very quietly and to head straight to the Vault where she'll get further instructions. Sindy's gotten her composure back and she heads in.
Like a burglar in the night she slowly opens the door and heads to the stairs. She's whispering to herself and trying to be really quiet and I'm surprised nobody is watching the main doors. The Vault slides open to allow Sindy inside . . . and we cut to commercial. Now there's a surprise.
Okay, we're back. Sindy's in the Vault doing a little dance of joy, unaware that Arisa is watching her. Arisa informs her that having already been evicted once she may be re-entering with a huge target but, thanks to KFC, she has the chance to keep herself safe for one week. Somewhere in the Vault is a piece of protection that will keep her from being put up if the PoV is used this week, but in order to find that protection she'll need to solve a logic puzzle. The solution to the logic puzzle will give her the correct safety deposit box that holds the five digit code to unlock the Vault and keep her safe. If she can't solve the puzzle and unlock the Vault in 30 minutes she'll be spending the night alone in the Vault and re-entering the house with nothing to protect her but her charm. Well that's not gonna work.
Sindy figures, she's Asian, she's good at solving puzzles. Her first clue has her looking for a palindromic number divisible by three and the pressure is on. Not on any of us of course because we can just sit back and wait until Monday evening to see the results. If you'd rather just read about it, feel free to stop back here and do so, but I'd suggest watching. It's way more fun. See you real soon.
