It was Day 42 when Sindy left the house and we're now back to the HoH competition and everyone is hoping the couples don't get HoH. We all know that Godfrey lost the first question (apparently on purpose) so let's move on. Ashleigh is out on a slop question. Sarah is out on a question regarding Kevin/Pilar's showmance survival. Brittnee blows the question on lies in the house, Bruno goes out on Sindy's influence on the jury, and Bobby is eliminated on a question about Zach going on the block next. A question about Naeha re-entering the house eliminates Willow and there's only one question left and it's either Zach or Kevin. Based on how annoying Sindy finds Bobby pushed out Zach and Kevin returns to the HoH room.
Godfrey's thinking he shouldn't have thrown this competition after all. Back in the bedroom the couples do the ritual dance of joy. Who the heck came up with the name "diaper alliance?" It's not like they're the youngest. In the Diary Room Kevin reveals that he may need to make a few decisions that are going to upset that alliance, but in the end he has to play his own game. Hopefully that doesn't include turning on his alliance yet but it could happen, just ask Jordan.
Over in the hot tub, Bruno, Bobby and Brittnee are discussing how bad this is for their game, while alone in the bedroom Sarah has a teary-eyed breakdown. I like Sarah but she's way too emotional. That whole free-spirit attitude doesn't take confrontation well.
Kevin wants to know if anyone wants to see his HoH room and everyone races up to see his photos, basket of goodies and new lamp from the Brick. He reads the letter from his mom who says everyone now recognizes her as Kevin's Mom. At least there's no tears from Kevin. Time to execute his plan.
Zach is pushing for Godfrey but this is Kevin's HoH and he needs to get Bobby up on the block. He also wants to work with Godfrey in the future to target Zach down the road so Kevin lets his alliance think Godfrey is the target for now. Even if he ends up on the block he could still be the pawn as long as the couples can secure the numbers. It also allows them to backdoor Bruno in the event of a PoV win. Kevin intends to take out a power player and he has a few in mind.
While Willow and Sarah are cuddling in bed, Willow realizes the couples are nowhere to be found and heads up to the HoH room. She needs to stay tight with the couples to keep in the know. She asks what the plan is and they ask what she knows about Bruno and Bobby. Willow plays to the couples but she intends to vote with Sarah regardless. Apparently she and Sarah have missed the fact that they're a couple. On the other hand, Sarah's glad to hear that so far the targets are Bobby and Godfrey and not her.
There's a seagull in the hot tub room and Godfrey offers him some slop which gets the others laughing. Time for Kevin to convince Bobby to go up on the block as a pawn. His true intention of course is to get rid of Bobby or Bruno but for some reason Bobby offers himself up as the pawn even before Kevin mentions it. His reasoning of course is that he needs to win the PoV and not get backdoored. Bruno has a bad feeling about this.
While Bruno is lounging in the hot tub, he tells Godfrey that Kevin intends to put Bobby and Brittnee up on the block but Bruno is sure that the target is actually one of them. He doesn't trust the couples and especially doesn't trust Kevin. Godfrey agrees that they need to win that PoV to stay safe and it's a good bet that nobody is going to be throwing this one.
The houseguests enter the livingroom to find a crystal ball and Kevin the Oracle. The houseguests are laughing as Kevin says he's been sent to read their fortunes. He will read a series of riddles and the houseguests reveal their choice of who that riddle should apply to. In the first envelope Sarah got to pick the three Have Nots, Godfrey has to wear a lobster costume for 24 hours, Bobby has to wear slop boots, Zach is giving massages, Bruno gets to watch clips from the season, Brittnee gets $42 (wow, a cash reward), Ashleigh gets a message from home, Willow gets to write to the jury house, and the last one is for Pilar to pick any of the other rewards and she picks . . . the Lobster costume from Godfrey. Pilar counts this as a reward.
Shortly thereafter Pilar enters the livingroom in her lobster costume and she's having a blast. Ashleigh gets to watch a video of her sisters with the other houseguests. It's short, sweet, and brings her to tears. No surprise. Willow goes to the Diary Room to write her jury letter and wants it to be truthful and honest and she hopes for the best as she reveals her alliance with Sarah and that she hopes nobody takes any of her decisions that put them in the jury house personally. It's the first time anyone in Big Brother has been able to contact the jury so it's hard to say how this can affect the game, especially when Willow herself could end up in the jury.
Kevin wanders out to the backyard to give Brittnee the heads up that she's going up on the block again. Nobody wants to get rid of Brittnee so everyone keeps using her as a pawn but she's getting really sick of it. She's tired of being a pawn star and wants to be seen as someone strong. Godfrey goes up to see Kevin in the HoH room to see where his head is at and Kevin assures him that he's not going up. He also tells Godfrey that Zach is terrified of him but he's not and he's hoping that will sway Godfrey to target Zach and Ashleigh rather than him and Pilar if Godfrey wins HoH.
Arisa comes back to remind us that this week is a Triple Elimination and if that's the case it's definitely going to shake up the house and Kevin's HoH . . . again. His first HoH lasted all of 24 hours and now this one is going to eliminate three houseguests. I'm beginning to think production likes him, but they had no idea he'd win this HoH so maybe not. Just lucky I guess.
Time for the nominations as Kevin heads into the vault. He knows his story this week to his alliance has been to backdoor Godfrey but his shortlist includes Bobby, Willow, Bruno and Brittnee. With his nominations locked in Kevin heads back to the livingroom for the reveal. His first nomination is Brittnee because she makes a great pawn but he gives a speech that pawns are the most overlooked chess piece and can be the most powerful. It's kind of a complement but she's still tired of that seat. His second nomination is Bobby because he thinks he can win the PoV and it tells everyone that Kevin's ready to backdoor someone else, but who.
Still not sure how that's going to translate into a Triple Eviction but that's all they wrote for this episode of Big Brother Canada. Maybe the winner of the PoV inadvertently takes themselves off, or maybe he current HoH leaves with the nominees. Either way I hope everyone enjoys the reviews and takes the time to leave a comment. I enjoy writing these reviews and answering those comments so come on people, fire away. I'll be back tomorrow to find out who's going to win the power of veto and I'll keep you up to date on how two nominations becomes three. Ciao for now.
