We join the four remaining houseguests right after Pilar's eviction on Day 63. Ashleigh is in tears after losing both her alliance members. Sarah's starting to look just a little paranoid when she sees Godfrey and Brittnee chatting after the eviction. It's probably a good thing she didn't see him then go directly to Ashleigh to assure her he's still on her side. Godfrey's just covering all his bases and he's managed to slide all the way to the end without winning a damn thing.
Ashleigh finds herself with no one else to rely on. Even though she doesn't trust Godfrey, she sure as hell cant trust Sarah or Brittnee. As she says, he'll has frozen over. Meanwhile Godfrey has returned to assure Brittnee that he's with her. She realizes that if Ashleigh goes to the end she has way too many friends on that jury and there's no way to beat her so she has to rely on Godfrey as much as Ashleigh does.
Time for the HoH competition as they head to the backyard podiums. The players will hear a series of quotes from evicted houseguests and they need to identify who said it. The catch is, all the quotes will be played through a robotic voice so they can't identify the voice. The houseguest with the most correct will be the new HoH. If Ashleigh doesn't win, she's gone.
Everyone has no problem identifying the first quote from Sindy. They also all get the second one from Graig. Ashleigh missed the third one from Naeha. Sarah gets the fourth vote from Kevin. Not looking good for Ashleigh. They all get the fifth vote from Willow. Ashleigh misses the sixth quote by Bruno. Last quote and it's either Sarah or Godfrey and they all had it correct but it didn't matter . . . Sarah is the new HoH and guaranteed a spot in the final three.
Sarah's up in the bedroom doing the happy dance when Brittnee comes up to join her. They've managed to become the power duo in the house that nobody believed in. Everyone races up to see Sarah's HoH room with new photos and a new nightstand from the Brick. She reads the letter from her mom and it all starts out fine until she starts tearing up and has to stop.
Godfrey and Ashleigh both know who's going on the block unless they can convince Sarah to put Brittnee up on the block. Godfrey can't do it directly because he's been working closely with them so he needs a third party. Hello, Ashleigh. Godfrey realizes that if Brittnee goes to the end, regardless of who she's beside, she'll win. Time to convince Sarah to turn on her BBBFF.
Godfrey and Ashleigh head up to the HoH room to find Sarah unusually on her own. Ashleigh asks Sarah directly if she's ready to cut ties with Brittnee and Godfrey's taken a little aback. What happened to subtle? Godfrey goes on damage control telling Sarah that sitting next to him pretty much guarantees her the win. He's right that she has a more even chance against these two than against Brittnee, but I'm not sure if it's sinking in yet.
As the houseguests are relaxing the doorbell rings. The doorbell never rings so they all head to the main door. In walks Gary Glitter from BBCan1 in heels and a tutu with his short platinum 'fro and he tells the houseguests he's there for the Big Brother Canada awards when they review what's been going on in Season three. Gary even brought a guest, Ika from BBCan2. No idea who she really is because I skipped that season after the second episode.
They start by dressing the houseguests in glamorous award show styles and Godfrey looks pretty good in that white suit. Now Ika is on to help them with their hair and even gets Godfrey to shave. When she tells him shed almost date him he's pretty awed. Time for the awards as they hit the red carpet. Love the feather boa and headdress on Sarah, but Ashleigh looked the best in a royal purple gown.
The houseguests are now seated at a dining table with champagne to watch the best moments of BBCan2. We get Sarah's standup vs the 3Bs dance moves, and Sarah wins. The favorite Godfrey speech is his blood speech to Zach. The best battle of words was won by the Sarah and Bruno fight during the triple eviction. Best make out session put Kevin and Pilar kissing in the rain against Sarah and Willow kissing in the pantry, and Sarah is so embarrassed until Kevin & Pilar win. Godfrey flirts again with the idea of him and Brittnee and she once again tells him "no."
More champagne as they show the first day with everyone high-fiving and then proceed to run through various clips from the season. It's probably a lot different to see everything from an outsiders point of view, especially when you're watching yourself. The final four are having a moment of closeness before they get back to the duplicity and conniving of the game.
Day 64 and Ashleigh is playing her game in an attempt to stay in the house. She wants to convince Brittnee that the jury members all see Sarah as the mastermind pulling Brittnee's strings and she won't stand a chance next to her. She needs Brittnee to vote out Godfrey in order to keep herself in the game and Brittnee may be easier to convince than Sarah. Not so much.
The girls start discussing who in the jury would or wouldn't vote for them and then they realize that just about everyone in the jury would vote for Godfrey. Brittnee points out that Godfrey has been a phenomenal player all season without having to actually do anything. Ashleigh points out that Godfrey is the best talker in the house, just look at all his speeches. Sarah thinks it's time to pull the trigger on Godfrey. That's probably a good call.
Time for the nominations as Sarah heads into vault. There's really no shortlist and she really has no idea what her best option is at this point. She knows that she has to consider jury votes and is a little concerned sitting next to Ashleigh in the final two, but she's more afraid of sitting there with Godfrey.
Sarah locks in her nominations and heads out to the livingroom to reveal. Her first nomination is no surprise to be Ashleigh. She tells her that she has played a more loyal game and most of those players are now in the jury. Her second nomination is Godfrey and again no surprise. She quotes Godfrey as her reason when she says that "a wise man once said never to put your closest ally on the block." Karma. That's the end of the nomination ceremony and everyone hugs as they all know it all comes down to the PoV.
I'll be back this evening to review the PoV episode and we'll get to see who goes to the jury and who remains for the final three. After that I'll be back Wednesday night for the BBCan3 finale to see who is crowned the winner of Season Three. See you real soon.
