Things have changed in the past couple weeks. Our regular video shoot location, The Druid, has closed and is undergoing rebranding. So we're at Gord's backyard. And Wayne got a haircut. And some much needed counselling, as you'll see in the videos. On top of that we have a special message to one of our fans at the end of video. I know, just like in those Marvel movies, a post-credit scene. A bit of teaser for next season of Amazing Race Canada? Who knows? Comment if you wish.
You'd think that after three+ years of doing these video recaps, we'd have things figured out. Sure we ramble but technically, you'd think it would be old hat. Not so much. After taping an entire recap at the Druid, Gord went to check the camera and realized that the memory card was full and the taping stopped somewhere around the 7 minute mark. Rookie mistake. So we had to figure out where we were and then start from there. But we finally did but you can probably tell by how we're speaking a bit faster in the second video, mostly cause we're hungry and we want to get it done. Anyway, Wayne sings cause Amy and Frankie asked him to, plus there's some discussion about a shirtless John A., and other race related stuff. Comment if you wish. After two weeks away, we're back with videos here at Gord and Wayne HQ. Wayne had a nice family holiday in South Africa, jumped off a cliff with his kid like they do in TAR. Gord put AC in his house and then the weather got cold. Here we discuss the episode but also freely admit we are not experts on professional lesbian welders, celebrate how Amy and Frankie brought beer to the mat and wonder if we would U-Turn Julie and Lowell. Looks like Wayne is the evil one in this duo (like we all didn't know that already). Anyway, we're a bit out of practice and the beer was only okay (PBR on sale for us hipsters) but we hope you enjoy it. Leave a comment if you do. Or not. Whatever. |
