The five houseguests are all lying in their coffins as the flames are blown over their heads. Add in the smoke filling the coffins and it's getting pretty toasty. Sarah has a system of counting out in ten minute intervals, as does Zach of tapping his chest, but 18 minutes in they hear Graig's voice over the speakers with his annoying catchphrases. Yep, they're in hell. Once that stopped someone sends in the evil clown and even though Ashleigh is not in the competition it doesn't keep her safe from his stalking.
It's been 40 minutes and Zach is still keeping his rhythm going. They now start hearing their family members voices and that's breaking everyone's concentration. There's a lot of tears and it's then that the coffins begin to fill with ice water. Sarah is shivering away. There's a moment of peace before Big Brother tells them to put on their goggles and then they release the worms. Seriously. Real worms are being blown into the coffins over their heads and into their hair and Pilar starts to freak a little. Worms are completely harmless but having a bunch dumped on you can feel really creepy.
Brittnee is sweeping worms out of her top. Pilar is screaming. Godfrey is complaining about worms in his Afro. Zach feels he's close so he hits the buzzer, followed by Brittnee. Pilar asks if worms bite just as more are blown over her face. She can't take it any longer and jumps out in a hurry and has to go back to hit her buzzer. Sarah guarantees Godfrey that he's safe so he decides to trust her and gets out. Once Godfrey is out Sarah hits her buzzer and now we get to see who won.
Brittnee and Zach were the worst and are the have-nots for the week. The one who was closest, with a time of just over 98 minutes, was Sarah, so Sarah is the new HoH and Zach is a little more than concerned. Everyone races up to Sarah's HoH room and the first thing she picks up is the picture of her partner Scott, who's been by her side every day for the past 10 years. She reads his letter and she's crying happy tears. Everyone clears out and she hops into a bubble bath alone and chats with Brittnee when she shows up.
Sarah and Brittnee have managed to keep their alliance going since the first night without turning on each other. No small accomplishment considering Sarah's attraction to Willow. They're both thinking how unreal it would be to make it to the final two. They're lovin' it. Zach? Not so much.
As night falls Zach joins Brittnee in the have-not room and tells her that he's glad he's in there with her of all the people in the house. His goal is to gain her trust and keep himself off the block. They've always had a good relationship in the house but right now he needs it to be a lot better in the hopes that she can convince Sarah to keep him safe.
Time for a pizza reward challenge. The houseguests are blindfolded and wearing a two person t-shirt and they need to identify the ingredients on four slices of pizza. Godfrey and Ashleigh are up first. They dig in to their pizza slice and now the ycan remove their blindfold and pick the ingredients, then blindfolds back on for the next slice, again and again through all four slices. Up next is Zach and Pilar, and they're sure they know all the ingredients. Lastly is Sarah and Brittnee who have a plan to touch and taste the pizzas.
Time for the results. With 17 out of 20 correct ingredients it's Ashleigh and Godfrey who each win a $500 gift card from PizzaPizza and a special gift to receive later. When they go inside they find PizzaPizza menus and letters from home. There's lots of tears and everyone gets emotional, followed by a tasty pizza party for all to enjoy, even the have-nots.
After the pizza party, all alone, Ashleigh goes down to the livingroom and is sent by Big Brother to the backyard for the other half of her reward. When she goes out she sees her mom and races into her arms. Mom tells her she's doing awesome and tells her she loves her and then sends her back into the house. Godfrey's turn to go down and out he goes to the backyard to find his sister. Like Ashleigh, he races across the yard and gets big hugs and hears that he's going to be an uncle again. She tells him he's going to do great and she loves him and back in he goes. Short and sweet, but those rewards were well worth it for both Ashleigh and Godfrey. Thanks Big Brother.
Up in the HoH room Godfrey is sucking up to Brittnee and Sarah. He likes Brittnee and she's saved him twice so he's kinda sweet on her, but . . . not a chance. Especially when he tries to "ship" their names together. The pressure of being HoH is starting to hit home with Sarah as she tries to decide what's best for her game. Zach has always been her target but now might not be the time. That said, she's running out of time and options.
Zach knows that one of his alliance is definitely going up and it's probably him. He also knows that nobody wants to take the best players to the end, they want to take the worst. That puts him out of the running because he's been a big competitor right from the start. Apparently Godfrey's plan to slide through everything and throw competitions is the way to go this season. Then again, Sarah could put both guys up and then it's every girl for herself if they both go out during a double eviction.
Time for the nominations as Sarah heads to the Vault. She wants to do something big and wants to nominate Zach because he's the best player. She talks through her shortlist and then locks in her nominations and heads out to the livingroom. Sarah has nominated Zach because he's done such an amazing job in the game and it's time to remove the king before he puts them all in checkmate. Her second nomination is Ashleigh because Sarah respects her game but has to put her up next to Zach to ensure she doesn't save him. As Ashleigh says, that sucks.
If Zach wins the PoV tomorrow night he will definitely be coming after Sarah next week, but a lot can happen in the Big Brother house in a day. Be sure to check back tomorrow night for another review and see who wins the PoV. On Wednesday I'll be doing my Survivor finale review as well as letting you know who goes home next. See you tomorrow night.
