Godfrey is up with Sarah and Brittnee and he's a bit concerned if Pilar wins the PoV because it leaves him as the only replacement. In the bedroom, Pilar goes to Ashleigh and knows that the pressure is on her to win. Ashleigh doesn't want to win but she knows that she wants to stay in the game but Zach deserves to stay in the house too. It's all a little too much. Zach wants to get Godfrey put up in his place so that Godfrey goes out instead of him.
To that end Zach pitches a fake girls alliance to Ashleigh so they can get Godfrey up. She's not too sure it'll work but then Zach goes to Pilar to pitch the same idea. Pilar is a little more innocent and naive and she likes the plan. Pilar goes to Sarah to discuss an all girls alliance and Sarah's a little surprised that after two months, now Pilar wants to talk game. Too bad she messes up when she stumbles over who to send home. Sarah's not buying it for a minute and has decided to never hire Pilar as a sales rep.
Everyone races downstairs dressed in popcorn costumes prior to the PoV competition, where they first watch a Shomi broadcast of the Sons of Anarchy and other shows. Sarah is up first, heads out to the backyard, and has to assemble a movie puzzle on a huge tablet showing seven series that are streamed on Shomi. They need to have the best time in order to win the PoV and a $500 entertainment package from Shomi. She starts by watching clips of what shows go where and then she starts assembling her puzzle. She feels she's done and hits the buzzer, but she's wrong. A quick fix and she has it.
Next up is Godfrey and he's quick on the bottom half but he's messed up on the top. Time to slide everything over before he gets it right. Zach races out and gets started but puzzles are not his specialty. Like the others he has no problem with the bottom half but he gets stuck on the top half. Things are not looking good for Zach. Back to the video and he eventually gets it but how long did it take?
Brittnee's turn and she heads out to the backyard and starts assembling her puzzle, again starting with the bottom shows before moving up to the top. Slow and steady and she has it. Ashleigh follows her and feels this competition is geared to a woman's touch. She's starting to tire out on the ladder but she's done and hopes she has the best time.
Speaking of time, it's time for Pilar to take her shot but it's not looking good. She's terrible at puzzles and has the memory of a sieve. She gets her puzzle done, hits the buzzer and . . . she's wrong. A quick fix, . . . still wrong. Again, . . . still wrong. Pilar says she's not a quitter but then she announces to Big Brother that she's going to stop and that concludes the competition. So much for not being a quitter. With a time of 28:30 the winner is Ashleigh and she can now take herself off the block.
Zach is hoping that his final four plan keeps him safe but Pilar is now sure it's either her or Zach going home. Ashleigh is hoping to keep her alliance intact and tries to convince Sarah to put up Godfrey but Sarah isn't believing her for a minute. She knows that both Pilar and Ashleigh are wrapped around Zach's finger, but she's not counting him out yet until that door closes behind him. She feels the best way to get rid of Zach is to put Pilar up opposite him. Like Godfrey, Sarah may have been coasting through until now but at least she's playing the game to win, not to take second place.
Nap time in the livingroom until Big Brother calls Godfrey to the Diary room. Godfrey has been selected for a special mission to raise the paranoia of the houseguests and if he wins he gets a surprise party for the house. The houseguests are then called to the HoH room to put on some truly odd costumes and perform a rap song. It was . . . really bad. Not all of it, but most of it. Now the backyard opens up and they race out to gather some random cards in the yard then they go back inside where Godfrey tells them he hears voices in the Vault.
"Bruno" comes over the speaker and the Vault opens to reveal a bunch of keys. They open some of the boxes and start trying to figure out what's going on. Godfrey's having a blast. He leads everyone back up to the HoH room, then back down. Godfrey eventually tells the houseguests what's going on and that he succeeded in his mission and now it's time to party. If you can call that a party. A little too much booty shaking for me. Now I remember why I avoid auditioning for Big Brother Canada.
Back in the HoH room, Pilar goes to talk with Sarah and Sarah asks if she'll hate her if she puts her up. Sarah is hoping that this will force Ashleigh to vote out her showmance Zach and keep her new best friend Pilar. Pilar really doesn't like hearing that she's going up and Zach isn't happy about it either. Zach now tries to convince Ashleigh to keep him instead of Pilar. I guess that depends on who she wants to play for.
Despite all he's done for her game Ashleigh has to play for herself. If she uses the PoV on Zach instead of herself then she obviously deserves to go home. The fact that he's trying to convince her to do that, even slightly, plays to his manipulation technique. Zach's a nice enough guy, but he's way too entitled and seems to feel everything should just be handed to him. Hopefully not this time.
Time for the PoV ceremony. She knows that saving Zach will put herself in danger but Ashleigh gives Zach a chance to plead his case and Zach says that he'd love for her to save him, but she should save herself and warns Sarah to choose wisely in her replacement because if he stays he's coming after Sarah and Brittnee. Ashleigh has, no surprise, decided to save herself. Sarah replaces Ashleigh with Pilar for the same reason she put up Ashleigh in the first place and tells Zach that this is her best move to get rid of the King. It's a good speech.
Be sure to check back on Wednesday when I'll be doing my Survivor 2 Hour Grand Finale review as well as letting you know who goes home next from the Big Brother Canada house. It's gonna be a busy night. See you Wednesday.
