This is our final interview and probably our final blog post for Amazing Race Canada Season 4. It's an interview with the winners, Steph and Kristen. Very nice interview with some interesting tidbits about which team they had a short showmance with and a couple of tips for those of you who desire to get on the Amazing Race Canada. Thanks to all of you for tuning it. Special thanks for those at CTV/Bell Media especially Anna, Jessica and Tonia for being there for Gord and Wayne. And to Mike Bickerton and all the teams that we got the chance to interview. Sorry we missed a couple of teams due to Wayne's holiday. Below there's a short video to see what the heck Wayne got up to in South Africa. An encounter with an annoyed elephant and something Very Amazing Racey, which is why he did it (Actually it was his kid's idea, she challenged him to do it so he had to step up). We hope Stephane and Antoine, and Kate and Kelly can forgive us for missing them.

It was a bit crazy and lots of talking over each other and some mention of Steph's injured finger now looking like a penis but what the heck, the final 3 teams agreed to talk to Gord and Wayne HQ and we had to just let it flow organically. Sure there are some questions but it was a lot of fun. They even predict how quickly Gord and Wayne would be eliminated. Pretty quick it seems. Anyway, enough of this the big interview is below, unedited save for some bits with PR people at the front and back.
Enjoy the interview.
There were a dark horse team, a team some folks wrote off as an early elimination but here at Gord and Wayne HQ, we figured out early that one should not take Amy and Frankie for granted. They were also a fun team to watch but unfortunately they became that fun team you liked to watch that was eliminated in the second to last leg. Here we talk to the mother and daughter duo who were up front and honest about the situation with Ashley at the Roadblock, amongst other things.

Now that the non-elims are done, we getting more interviews. Gone this week are Edmonton's own Rita and Yvette. They struggled in the Cuban leg and came into the Cape Breton leg with the prospect of a Speed Bump. Add to that a mistake on the Coast Guard task and being U-Turned by Jillian and Emmett, it was tough for these twins to come back. Still, they had a lot of fun and brought a lot of personality to the race, personality that was always brought to the viewers attention. We met Rita and Yvette at a viewing party here in Edmonton and found them to warm and friendly, although they may have be wary knowing who we were and what kind of stuff we wrote about.
Still, we had a great interview with them. Please forgive the sound quality. There was an issue with our recording (couldn't find the good one so had to use an old one). And the Bell Media PR site seems to be having issues so we weren't able to download any images from the show.
But here you go, Rita and Yvette.
We have finally gotten enough readers to actually need a guest page for all of our interviews and guest blogs. At least, we hope we have. We also hope everyone enjoys the new page.
