It's a waste of nearly five minutes before we move on and Jordan has come to the realization that you can never get comfortable inside this house. Zach's belief that Jordan is safe is delusional and now that the alliance is revealed his ally is in danger. Even more so with Sindy on a mission to remove Zach that will likely start with turning on her showmance.
Sindy with an S is back with a vengeance and dancing alone in the HoH room. Meanwhile Zach and Jordan are in the yard where Zach apologizes to Jordan for leaving him on the block and then says it would be best for everyone to vote Jordan out but they won't because he plays such a good social game. He then explains that they'd be better off removing his ally and leaving someone in the house who wants his head but they're all too emotional to play that way. Jordan has this dumbfounded look on his face as it dawns on him that he's likely going home.
Godfrey chats up Sindy in the pantry to see where her head is at. He tells her that the house is thinking she's got two chances and a showmance and that's putting a target on her unless he reels her in. He talks a good game and makes more sense in this one conversation than he has all season. Apparently he's decided to start playing the game. Keeping Godfrey in the house also benefits Sindy's game.
Sindy reveals that despite her attraction to Jordan, his alliance with Zach is detrimental to her winning the game so he has to go. Ouch! Now she moves to convince Sarah and Brittnee that it's best for all of them to keep Godfrey. Sarah's a little hesitant in case it backfires, but she's in. Now Sindy is heading over to play Bruno to make sure she can keep Godfrey in. Bruno's not sure they can trust Sarah but he's pretty sure about Bobby.
Up in the HoH room, Sindy has learned to check the bathroom before talking strategy with Brittnee. Good call. She comes back with an ""all clear" and tells Brittnee that Bruno's in. Brittnee's a little concerned but she listens to Sindy's plan to keep Godfrey and trust Bruno. The only flaw in this plan is that she'll be giving the power back to the Chop Shop and Bruno will coast to the win. Then again, that's Zach's fault for not having the cajones to stick to a plan.
Bruno goes to Bobby in the yard to show Bobby what's going on in the house using twelve candies. Bobby isn't getting it and still refers to the Chop Shop which Bruno is sure has fallen apart. I think Bobby just wants to eat the candies. Neither of them trusts Godfrey, but they need him to get rid of Zach. As far as Bruno is concerned, now's the time to get rid of Zach's primary alliance.
In the kitchen Sarah is celebrating 4/20 by teaching Pilar the finer points of joint smoking. They pretend to pass a joint between them and this carries on into the bedroom when Sarah brings it to Kevin. It's nice to see them all getting a bong.
Zach calls the houseguests to the livingroom to announce a very important Big Brother task. Only two of the houseguests will be allowed to participate in the task and the houseguests need to decide which two. Willow figures they need to pick one who's physical and one who's smart so Brittnee nominates Sindy. Everyone tends to agree that she's really smart so now they move on to someone physical and somebody pitched Zach, or Godfrey. Bobby says he can do it and Bobby is in. Big Brother then calls Bobby and Sindy to the Vault.
Once in the Vault Bobby doesn't like the look of things. There are two pedestals with big red buttons, and two beds. The clock on screen comes to life. 24:00:00. They're stuck in the Vault for 24 hours. Bobby wonders about the buttons but doesn't think they should press them regardless of what reward/penalty the house may receive.
Outside the vault the others are wondering what's going on. Willow figures they're both asleep because they both love to sleep. Well, they're in bed. Not much else to do in there but talk. Whatever they're talking about is starting to make Bruno a little paranoid that they may be discussing side deals to get rid of him, or change the current plan, or . . .
Godfrey is worried about not being able to campaign for his safety with two allies locked away in the Vault. Bruno is more concerned about all the showmances going on around him. Zach and Ashleigh are always together, Sarah and Willow are always holding hands (that must have been some kiss), Bobby and Brittnee under the sheets, Sindy playing kiddy-face with Jordan, and of course Kevin and Pilar whom Bruno is forecasting wedding bells for. Even Kevin is aware that his showmance is starting to get serious. Maybe Bruno is just jealous.
Arisa teases about 10,000 reasons to shake up the house just before the break and then informs us about the special task in the Vault when we return. There's four minutes left and Sindy and Bobby just want out. Two minutes left and the livingroom screen comes to life to show the houseguests that they're still alive. It's the final countdown and nothing bad has happened . . . yet.
Arisa tells Bobby and Sindy that it all comes down to these next five minutes. They are offered the chance to get $10,000 if they hit the buzzer, but there's a catch (isn't there always). The money comes out of the winner's $100,000 and they will be exiting the house today. Bobby and Sindy assume their posts as the five minute countdown begins. Bobby feels it could really help him and Sindy really wants him to press the button. At six seconds Bobby almost hit it but he didn't and they both exit the Vault.
Sindy celebrated her birthday with Bobby in the vault so to make up for it she holds a Pageant 101 class for the houseguests. She teaches them what she knows about pageants and then they show off what they learned. She finishes the class by asking the houseguests the usual end of pageant questions, ending with a question to Jordan. Jordan answers that Canada is one of the best countries in the world because it allows dorks like him to get down on one knee in front of pageant girls like Sindy and ask . . . here it comes . . . If she'll be in a showmance with him, and Sindy says yes. Good thing he didn't actually propose as that would have seriously messed up her game.
The pageant is over and it's back to the game. Bruno needs to make sure Bobby is in on the plan to keep Godfrey and he gets a little help from Brittnee when she informs Bobby that the initial plan was to backdoor him. Bruno asks if it was a reliable source and she admits she got it from Zach himself. Well that really changes Bobby's gameplan.
It's time for the eviction vote as Arisa checks in with the houseguests. She shows them some footage of Big Brother Superfans who won a chance to try their hand at the Ant Maze challenge. They're all pretty slow going through there. Arisa then tells them that whoever gets evicted tonight will become the first member of the jury and they're all really surprised.
Arisa then gives Godfrey and Jordan their 30 seconds to plead their case. Godfrey tells everyone it's time to stop being Zach's cheerleaders and let him stay so he can take Zach out. Jordan attempts to indirectly throw Godfrey under a bus with a funny speech before Arisa cuts him off. Time to vote.
Kevin is up first and votes to evict Godfrey, Pilar also votes to evict Godfrey, Brittnee votes to evict Jordan, Sarah also votes to evict Jordan. So far they're tied. Willow votes out Sir Sleepsalot Godfrey, Bruno votes out Jordan, Ashleigh votes out Godfrey, Sindy votes out Jordan, and it's all down to Bobby. Bobby votes to evict . . . Jordan.
And with that, the secret Newport alliance is no more and Captain Canada is likely to be following his alliance member next week. This proves once again that you should never volunteer to be put on the block. Arisa informs Godfrey that he is safe and Jordan is surprised but rapidly grabs his bag and races out of the house. No hugs lost there.
Arisa can't believe that Jordan would actually put himself on the block and then throw the competition. Jordan says "never, ever, get too comfortable in this game." He says he's there now because he's an idiot. Can't argue with that. I liked Jordan but his time is done.
We wrap up this episode with the start of the next HoH competition. Houseguests are seated in directors chairs in the backyard and informed that a group of local students have made video clips of favorite past events and the houseguests need to be the first to hit their buzzer and if they're correct about the event they can choose who to eliminate from the challenge. Of course, if they're wrong, they'll be eliminated. The last one seated will be the new HoH.
The first few seconds of the first film is shown and it's really just some digitized squares masking the event but Bobby buzzes in immediately. I think he was just guessing in an attempt to throw the competition. Arisa asks him which event, he calls it out, and . . . he was right. He looks as amazed as the rest of them and can't believe he got it. He looks around, hums and haws, and eliminates Sindy. That's it for tonight's episode.
I hope everyone is enjoying the reviews. Feel free to leave comments and be sure to come back Friday for both Wayne's and my Amazing Race reviews. We'll see you here Friday.
