With Kevin's HoH win and Bobby and Brittnee on the block we join the houseguests at the end of the nomination ceremony. It's day 43 and Bobby is glad that he's been put on the block because he doesn't want to be backdoored and the only way to guarantee that is to win the PoV. Godfrey and Bruno are both suspicious of Kevin and assume they're his real target but they're not. Kevin is after Bobby.
In the bedroom Brittnee is complaining to Bobby about being back on the block. Bobby thinks she just needs to chill out like he does. Bruno knows something is up and he goes to talk to Kevin. He gets all huggy about it and Kevin assures Bruno that Godfrey is the target. Time for another hug as Kevin tells him to relax . . . until he's out of the room when Kevin says Bruno shouldn't relax.
Kevin tells Zach all about the hugathon with Bruno and Zach has found out that Kevin may not backdoor Godfrey after all. Kevin doesn't want to rock the boat but he needs to bring Zach around to his way of thinking in order to carry out his master plan. Zach needs to be a little more flexible, he can always win the next HoH and put Godfrey up himself if he's that big of a threat . . . unless Godfrey wins.
Time to pick players for the PoV competition. Bobby and Brittnee join Kevin to pick the other three players. Kevin picks Pilar, Bobby picks Ashleigh and Brittnee picks Sarah. Kevin chooses Bruno to host the competition and now they just have to wait for the competition to begin. The player choices couldn't have gone better for Kevin. All Kevin has to do is beat Bobby and everything will go as planned.
Brittnee is back in the bedroom complaining to Sarah but Sarah is getting tired of having to be her support. The only way to help Brittnee is for Sarah to take her off the block, which would force Kevin to put up someone else against Bobby. Not a bad option if he puts up Bruno but I don't see Sarah winning the PoV.
The players are all dressed in red jumpsuits as Bruno enters in his red vest and informs those not competing that they get to watch from the livingroom while the others head out to the yard. They need to recreate a Brick showroom to match a display across the yard hidden behind a tent wall that they can only see by riding on a swing. The winner not only wins the PoV but also wins $10,000 courtesy of the Brick. A nice little extra incentive. As a detail person with a near photographic memory I'd ace this competition.
Ashleigh is the first and swings really fast to see what furniture goes where. She starts moving the ones she remembers and it's back to the swing. She thinks she has it but . . . Nope. Try again. Nope. One more time and she's got it. Brittnee is up second and she hits the swing and takes too long getting the swing up to speed. She starts moving furniture and hits the buzzer, but she's missed something. Fixed and done.
Time for Bobby to get on the swing and he gets up quick but, . . . well, . . . it's Bobby. It doesn't help that he admits to having terrible short term memory. Again and again and again he hits the buzzer but to no avail. Fourth hit, nope. Fifth, nope. Finally. It's Kevin's turn on the swing and they must have been told they needed to sit because I'd be standing on that swing. Kevin gets going but he missed something and the cardio is nearly killing him. He finally catches his mistake and he's done.
Pilar is up next and she's having trouble getting up high enough to see anything. Add in her usual confusion and I'm not sure how much help she's going to be to Kevin's plan. The swinging has made her nauseous and Pilar has to drop out of the competition. It's now up to Sarah to beat everyone else and she's rocking it, but she's missed something. Hello ottoman. She's done but how badly remains to be seen.
In third place is Bobby which is better than he though, but the winner . . . with a time of 9:30 is . . . Kevin. Brittnee felt she was minutes away but she was actually in fourth place and it's unlikely she's coming off the block. Time for Bobby to suck up and hope he can offer up a bigger target than himself. That could be difficult since he's been Kevin's target all along. Ooh, look, a Brick Tent Sale commercial. What a surprise. Actually I'm all for sponsorship and the Brick is more than welcome to sponsor our blog if they'd like.
Sarah calls everyone to the livingroom for a special announcement. Big Brother is not happy with those ignoring their morning wake up call and shows the video evidence. The two worst offenders are Zach and Kevin and they are to be punished. They need to clean the house from top to bottom and the other houseguests aren't to lift a finger even to get food. Zach and Kevin report to the Diary Room and return in little French Maid uniforms. The girls are killing themselves laughing, as I'm sure are many of the viewers.
Time to get cleaning and since these two haven't done anything all season it's payback time. Godfrey decides it's a great time to have the boys cater to him and do his 43 day old laundry. The rest of the houseguests decide to also take advantage of the situation having the boys hand feed them. Why does Godfrey keep checking out Zach's ass? Pretty sure this was not the French Maid dream Godfrey had in mind but now I'm beginning to wonder. When Kevin takes a fall in his heels he formally apologizes to all women who have to wear them.
On a break from all that maid service Kevin is in the bedroom with Pilar to let her know his actual plan. Whatever Kevin wants to do Pilar is in 100%. This showmance is getting deeper than Kevin probably had in mind but I think it could be good for him. Kevin goes to Godfrey to tell him to stick to the plan and assume he's being backdoored. Godfrey tells him he's with him but what choice does he have. Out goes Godfrey, in come Bobby and Bruno and Kevin tells them the plan is in play to backdoor Godfrey. Bobby says he wants to keep his secret veto intact but there's no secret veto. I'm not sure if Kevin already knows that though.
Now Kevin needs to tell Zach the full plan and Zach's not fully onboard with this one. He knows that this isn't great for his game but realizes that it's best for Kevin's. Kevin knows that Zach is still leery but hopes he still has his trust. I think Zach is a too focused on Godfrey without realizing that Godfrey is a lone gun in the house whereas Bobby and Bruno are as much a couple as Sarah and Willow and they need to be separated.
Time for the PoV ceremony and Kevin has the option of removing someone or leaving things as they stand. Brittnee really wants to be taken off, but so does Bobby who really doesn't want to have to pull out a nonexistent secret PoV. Kevin gives Bobby a chance and Bobby says he'd be indebted to Kevin but he has to do what's best for his game. Brittnee gets her chance and says that Kevin can prove she's just a pawn by removing her. Not so fast Queen B. Kevin has decided not to use the power of veto and Bobby is crushed.
Before Kevin can complete the ceremony Bobby jumps up and tosses a broken piece of plastic down as his secret PoV. There's a long pause before everyone realizes it was all a ruse. Nobody can believe he did that and Kevin can't believe Bobby bamboozled the whole house for almost 6 weeks. I'm equally surprised that anyone fell for it.
Come back on Wednesday to see who goes out the door, Brittnee or Bobby, and find out who wins the next HoH competition. I'll be here to keep you up to date if you miss it and you can let me know how well I'm doing. Or not. See you in two days.
